My first tag was by Tharini, she is someone who I have tremendous respect for and I enjoyed doing the tag! Second time around when MiM, I mean the fantabulous MiM (yes, the one and only MiM) tagged me, I was suuuuper dooooper thrilled. I jumped over to see what it was about, when I found out I literally drowned and never went back to her page again for a while. There was no way I was going to do that tag and I thought of a fair few ways to get out of it too 
! I even suggested to her that, I was happy to do the opposite of the awesome tag, I mean 7 reasons to say why I wasn’t awesome, she didn’t agree and insisted that I had to do it and I couldn’t change it anyway. Now, how could I possibly not do a tag MiM requested me to do. She is someone who makes me smile everyday in this blogging neighbourhood I’ve created. So, MiM here are my 7 points without any further delay!
I am an awesome person because..
- nothing is ever a big deal, I mean nothing really. No stress, anything and everything is just fine. Eg. Its winter in our part of the world and I don’t wake up early enough so, OK drives me to the bus stop which is literally 700m from home. Lazy I know!! OK was really concerned the other day and said ‘you know if I keep doing this, its just not good for the car (we have aV6), its going to die one day. The engine apparently needs to run for a certain distance for the car’s efficiency. I said well, they really can’t make machines to just die like that and if it really does, what’s the big deal, we’ll get another car! He literally fell off his seat!
- i am very content in life. I never want, yearn or crave for any material stuff. I rarely shop or even buy stuff for myself. 95% of what I own has either been bought by my parents, OK, sister’s, in-laws or friends!
- i have amazing physical strength. I don’t tire easily and can go on and on without complaining of fatigue. I hope I don’t jinx it and it continues this way!
- i have all the patience in the world for kids. Rarely ever lose temper with them. I have a lot of tolerance for anything adults say or do too. The only thing that truly gets me is, if someone throws hurtful words and or if they belittle people.
- i am an eternal optimist and always think positive. I believe in giving anything and everything a try!
- i never shy away from asking a question or a favour, could even be a stranger. The worst answer is a NO and I don’t have a problem dealing with a NO for an answer.
- i never ever swear (have never) and never throw hurtful words at people.
and
I am awesome because I can never ever do this tag in my real world. I mean I can write such stuff here in the blogosphere, in disguise with the confidence that people won’t see me, don’t know me in real life and haven’t met me ( except a couple, I’m already shy guys), but I suck big time in selling myself in real world and saying I am good at stuff, leave alone saying I am just awesome :-).
Phew…so thank you MiM for making me do it! What an ego boost this is. I certainly know where to come when I am down in the dumps one of these days and feeling really low; I also know where to send family when they tell me I am just not good enough .

Of course you are!! I know its not easy though! I refused to do it and chewed on it until MiM almost gave up! One of the incentives for me to complete it was so MiM would do mine without much delay

Hi, Just surfed in (from Poppy’s blog).
I think it’s amazing that you don’t lose patience with children. How do you do it? Any tips for the likes of us who have a tendency to lose it beyond a point?
*Waves a hi*. LOL, I’ve been in close proximity with kids since I was a kid myself. My 1st nephew was born when I was only 11, then followed by others at 14, 18 and 21. I would feed them, give them a bath, dress them take them to the park, done absolutely everything for them, I’ve mothered all 4 of them at some point or the other in their life. So, I guess I am just used to it..I haven’t had to work hard at it! May be its this stage too. Don’t know if I’ll be the same when they are in their rebellious teen age! So far so good, have to wait and see if it continues!

Kids will be kids. Can’t expect them to behave like adults, if they are nice and mature, how would they classify as kids..they are there to push us to the limit, they are there to test our patience level. By losing it, we don’t make it any better for them or us. Don’t you think its true. That’s what I follow
